Comment by keith hunter on October 18, 2009 at 1:41pm: i've been shortboarding since the 70's and its always been about progression not re- gression!there is nothing worse than a longboard out at a high performance spot then trying to surf his tanker like a shortboard i'm an old school surfer who dosen't like all the media and commercial hype thats brought crowds and kooks to something alot of us chargers and rippers take very seriously. look at it like country and rock stars[shortboarders=rock star, longboarders=country] or you longboard 'cause you couldn't make it as a rock star!!!!!
